Official poster reveal for Mama Duck!

We’re thrilled to reveal the official poster for Mama Duck! Created by the talented Chris Reale (@realeimage), it encapsulates the heart of the film and its most poignant themes.

At the core of Mama Duck is Caeli’s journey—navigating the pull between her own dreams and her responsibility to her complicated family. The poster reflects this tension and speaks to Caeli's struggles to find her own path while carrying the weight of familial obligations.

Caeli is an aspiring animator, and the illustrations which appear around her symbolize Caeli's struggle to balance the reality of her family’s needs with the animated world she longs to create. 

The duck at her feet represents Caeli's childhood creation—the titular Mama Duck—and her dream of building a successful animated series. 

The whimsical elements represent Caeli’s aspirations while her own expression is a reminder of the emotional challenges she faces—particularly her brother's illness and the strain it places on her family.

The crumpled paper texture in the background evokes the idea of sketches, drafts, and imperfect attempts, much like Caeli’s efforts to navigate her relationships and career. It highlights her constant revisions—whether of her work or her life decisions—echoing the film's theme of personal growth, setbacks, and resilience.
